coL return to 1.6!

With the LA compLexity team stuck at the bottom of the North American CGS league, it has now been announced that the CSS squad will be allowed to play in both 1.6 and Source tournaments.

Heres a sample of the statement from their site:

The Syndicate is thrilled to announce that we can confirm the rumors about coL.cs playing 1.6. Over the remaining months of 2008, we have decided to allow the squad to participate in both 1.6 and CSource events.

First and foremost, we'd like to let the coL Community know that we are doing this for FUN and have no false illusions of domination in 1.6 after not touching the game for 1.5 years. Our players love and respect 1.6, and want to play it as often as possible, but our professional careers dictate that we focus more on CSource. Thus, look forward to some good old fashion coL.cs 1.6 action, but please understand we are playing for fun and it'd be foolish to expect to see the coL.cs magic from 2004-2006.

Their first tournament will be the US WCG qualifiers with rumours of them playing in the next CEVO season as well.

LA compLexity is:

Danny "fRoD" Montaner

Corey "Hanes" Hanes

Ronald "Rambo" Kim

Tyler "Storm" Wood

Matt "Warden" Dickens

jovan how fucking long have you played this game!? Of course hanes played 1.6 he was in u5 for ages, his nuke demos were sick, he use to bunny hop all the way through the vents.
Anyway nice to col playing 1.6 again even if it is just for a laugh.

yeh it was electronic warefare... but it was a movie/doc following CPL 2002 so yeah enoch the footage was from that game, I assume it was the final

pretty sure thas the same cpl where brunk first did the brunk pos on inf, sunman did the 'shot heard all around the world' on train and heaton and someone did that classic spray down of those 4 awful t9 players at mid on inf lol, one of the best cpls !
