Evilzone have announced two new additions to their lineup, in the form of ex Begrip stars, kvicken and moddii. The team are due to be attending Dreamhack winter next week, and it will be interesting to see how they fair in their group which also features SK Gaming and a BYOC attendee. They will not have to face GamePlay because the financial crisis has meant the organisation cannot afford to send the team.

There comes a time in every mans life when he’s going to be asked to step up, to take the plunge, to put his balls on the line and say, pick me! Today that fine young man was kye as he becomes the latest member of the well known and equally well respected UK counter-striking outfit TROJAN.

After the controversial departure of Kyle from the team speculation was rife as to who they would find to replace the gobby gaming icon, many names were mentioned but it seems kye fits the bill. From teams such as endeffect to freeze! and aliquo, kye has plenty of experience to draw upon, but where will the team go from here?

With the recent fold of whizpah, Daniel 'punt' Dougherty has decided to jump into the team of 4FX, the team who are well known and respected in the UK took on punt to get the team rolling and active again.

I caught up with punt for a quick interview:

So Mr Dougherty, what made you decide to join 4FX?

punt: They're nice lads, I don't have to be on everyday, theres no commitment schedule like BE HERE EVERYDAY 6-12, we just play when we're on and no one moans Eagle's abit of a cock tho

Well now that your in the lineup, you think 4FX will go far?

punt: I don't think we're gonna judge our online results too seriously and i believe we'll play our best CS on lan, I guess the next lan you'll see us at is IG6 where hopefully we'll get some practice in before it and aim obviously to win, but top 3 would be nice. Although as every member in the team is an alcoholic we'll probably fall flat on our faces

Well I'm sure your tooth will take most of the impact, So with your new team and you being mostly active again, what rank do you think your in the UK?

punt: I still believe I have my own individual skill as probably the best player in the UK on LAN, gradually I'll find my form and consistency and that can only benefit 4fx, and I'm not one to judge my own team I'll let other people do that when we hopefully perform well on LAN.

Are 4FX going to enter any non-UK leagues, try get the UK scene noticed again around europe?

punt: Hopefully it's something we're looking at, gives us some extra practice before LAN aswell, and playing vs european teams will only benefit ourselves.

On Friday, it was announced that longtime member of mYm, Lukas "LUq" Wnek had been dropped from the polish powerhouses. However, the big revelation today is that this was all a lie and that instead, Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński. kuben has been a two year member of the team and has been removed in search of greater results for the team.

Further to this, it was also noted that Filip "pionas" Pionka of frag eXecutors would be joining the team as their fulltime fifth. Taz, Neo and Loord had this to say:

In our attempt to find the reasons behind our bad results, and lack of team spirit outside the game, we took a hasty decision and removed Lukas last Friday. We did so, because we wanted to be in time for DreamHack which is in less than 14 days.

After cooling down, we have thought the situation over once again, and we feel that Lukas can bring more to the table than Jakub can.
Jakub has been a core part of our lineup for more than two years, and he is a good friend to all of us. Unfortunately we feel that we have to exchange him to be able to develop in the future.

The old fans of us, know that we have always had problems and arguments when changing our roster. This time was not different.
To replace kuben we have taken in pionas, and we feel that he brings with him a thirst, commitment and a hunger that can motivate us even more.

We would like to address the accusations of this change being reasoned by company pressure; it can be said simple: it is OUR choice. We felt we had a problem, a problem that couldn't be solved with words alone. Actions speak louder than any word and we hope that we can already show you some of the NEW action at DreamHack in 12 days!"

Lastly, We would like to thank kuben for all this time with us, for his dedication and effort he put in the team. He was a great player and good friend, we wish him all the best in his new way of life.

Last night saw a major shocking turn of events in France. Mickael "mSx" Cassisi has made the decision to leave the floundering emuLate, who used to dominate the scene. emuLate have had a poor season, failing to qualify for WCG and turning out poor results. However, things had started to look up for them after their recent victory at KODE5 France. Now it appears it is back to the drawing board as they begin their search for a new fifth member.

mSx on the other hand, is already clanned. He has created a team featuring two former aAa members and two local players.
