As many of you may have seen playing in the fnatic Play tournament earlier this week, The Last Resort have decided to enter 1.6 again.

Taking players from vVv and The Imperial, the lineup lost narrowly to FairFrag in the fnatic Play competition but are looking to move forward and get the TLR name back on the map by winning the EPS against rivals vitalsigns on Sunday.

Zac "zaK" Bassett commented:

Since the vVv lineup effectively folded half way through EPS, we have been looking for the right players to complete the lineup. The players we have picked are peopel we have all played with in the past - Sharpe Kenjinn and Murdy. With both Sharpe and Kenjinn being in TLR previously and TLR being one of the top organisations in the UK, we are pleased to announce that we will be representing TLR in the 1.6 scene.

SK Gaming will be using ex MYM player Andreas "moddii" Fridh as a stand-in for Arbalet Dallas this weekend. Rasmus "GuX" Stahl is set to rejoin fnatic, replacing Björn "threat" Per whose performances had come under much scrutiny since he joined the team in February of this year.

Controversial circumstances surround the move as fnatics Sam Mathews pays Gux not to attend Arbalet with SK, despite his team also not attending.

Björn "threat" Per has been released by fnatic. Although achieving first at Arbalet Cup Europe and second at the IEM finals, results recently have been waning and have led to his removal. threat only joined in early 2010, replacing Rasmus "GuX" Stahl who left due to personal disagreements with the team.

Harley "dsn" Orwall commented:

Today we are parting ways with threat. Our results lately have been a bit questionable and our play in-game hasn't been what it once was.

We felt we needed a change to keep the team strong, fresh and motivated for the upcoming tournaments. We would like to wish Bjorn the best of luck and thank him for his time as a friend, teammate and player in fnatic.

The teams next tournament will be GameGune in a week and no replacement has been confirmed.

As befitting many Finnish teams in the past, Playzone have gone the way of astralis, Excello and PowerGaming and have been hit by the requirement of some of their players to join national service.

Otto "danzer" Dimitrow, Miikka "dRiim" Toroi and Jirka "jiGetus" Ryhti will be serving for at least six months, leaving the Playzone lineup with two.

No replacements have been confirmed but we'll be sure to hear something soon.

After being removed from AGAiN in January, little had been heard from Lukasz "LUq" Wnek.

Today it has been revealed that LUq will be back playing for PGS as a stand-in during the fnatic Play tournament next week. He'll be taking the place of Artur "dOK" Kaleta who according to rumours has gone inactive.
