The Icelandic Team-Seven who placed 4th overall at WSVG UK in 2006 have now returned to their full glory in the form of an updated lineup.

Their lack of funding and disappearance of online qualifiers for such tournaments as WCG, kode5 or ESWC prompted them to disband in 2007.

Their aims for 2009 are to disrupt the international scene as best they can and bring dominance back to Iceland.

Their roster is as follows:

In mid September of this year, the Norweigan team known as oxzyn joined up with world reknowned organisation - Playzone. The team had been playing well and were delivering promising results in the Extreme Masters III Main Round, even beating the former #1 team in the world, fnatic. They had also qualified for the ESL Pro Series, Scandanavia where they were due to battle it out with the biggest names in CS, including mTw and SK Gaming.

However, the team have decided to leave Playzone because of their poor and non-negotiable contract. They have returned to their origins, in Oxzyn, and they have the following lineup:

The Imperial took a huge step last week, adding the first PC lineup to a formerly all console team in the form of a Team Fortress 2 squad. Today, The Imperial has moved forward yet again by taking on the former Versatile Gaming Counter Strike 1.6 Team.

The team is full of experience, including 2 former 4Kings players, and a player from the Mousetek Counter Strike 1.6 team.

Myself and the whole team are very happy with joining The Imperial organisation. The Imperial has a very good name for themselves on the console front and we as a team are very proud to be a part of their PC team. We would also like to give Oli "oLi" Adams a big thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a part of his PC team.

We would also like to thank Oli "oLi" Adams for his successful work so far, and we look forward to a bright future at The Imperial.

aAa have removed their team of three and have replaced them with the recent WCG attendents, eSport-EU. The old aAa team fell into trouble when Kyle "noth1ng" Saadi and Gaetan "Shq" Varlotta left to join Mickael "mSx" Cassisi on his new project.

Matthias "Zazie" Jégou (Manager of aAa) commented:

It wasn't that easy to chose them because our former players from the last line-up also proposed an attractive team but we finally made the choice of the stability. They have changed only 2 players these past 2 years and lately achieved very good results.

XLBet.ATS have kicked Martin "trace" Heldt after internal conflicts. trace claims it is because they do not believe that his internet was down, facing their recent defeat to wooSai in KoTH

After months of service Martin "trace" Heldt is released from the team of AndThenSome. We are all very happy for his time in the team and he will never be forgotten. However, changes were to be made. Internal problems between Martin and the rest of the players, which occurred during the last week, made this change necessary.

It seems ATS have been quick to find a replacement in the shape of former wooSai player
Daniel "anizz" Aniff. He made an impressive debut in a very one sided game against SK Gaming that ATS managed to win 16-2.
