coL 1.6 dropped

American powerhouse compLexity have terminated the contracts of their CS 1.6 team with immediate effect. A statement on the coL website suggests that the team was difficult to work with in the first place, and the last straw:

Earlier today we learned that one of our players missed his flight to China for MSI BEAT IT because he forgot his visa at home. This caused two players to intentionally miss their flights. This type of incompetence and outright disrespect for a tournament organizer flies in the face of everything compLexity stands for and will not be tolerated.

ICSU announce rape

Swedish side ICSU have made changes to their line-up on the back of poor performances at the ASUS Summer Cup 2010 (which we were too lazy to cover). Joining them will be Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi, at the expense of former Begrip star Fabian "blomstar" Åkermark, who they felt was not the right fit for the team despite his talent.

Their line-up now consists of:

Mikail "eksem" Bill
Danniél "dalito" Morales
Mahyar "Noodles" Samadi
Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi

Lions recruit H2k

After the loss of their 1.6 squad to Online-Kingdom, Lions began to look at picking up a new roster to represent their brand.

It's now confirmed that the organisation will recruit the remaining members of H2k.Gaming who were only recently released from their contracts.

mouz confirm Blizzard as fifth

After the tragic death of Antonio "cyx" Daniloski in a road accident last month, mousesports had not yet confirmed a new fifth for the upcoming EPS season.

Today they've announced that they will not be adding a new player, but will use their longtime backup member Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel as the teams fifth in this season of EPS.

Rambo is back with WinOut

Ron "Rambo" Kim has now confirmed his new 1.6 team under the name of WinOut.

The former 3D and X3 player will now join David "zid" Chin who he played alongside at Arbalet Dallas with Underestimated.
