Unfortunately the difficulty of obtaining visas to Taiwan for Chinese teams meant there were notable exceptions in the list of teams such as
TyLoo. However, three of the best Asian teams were in attendance: WeMade FOX, 
Immunity and 
TitaNs who were all heavy favourites to progress here.There were no major upsets in the group stages as the big teams made short work of the locals. The only question was over 1st place in Group B. With
WeMade FOX waiting in the semi-final for the runner-up there was plenty of incentive; in the end Immunity took the group fairly comfortably, all but booking their slot in the Global Finals with just a routine semi against 
UMX-Gaming who finished 2nd in Group A by the skin of their teeth.Group A
