The E-Sports Alliance

Posted by ukwint on the 2nd of March 2006 at 10:59 PM.

The E-Sports Alliance (eSa) has now been launched. A welcome post has been posted on the website but here's a small taster..

Our focus here is you, the gamer. You can submit your news, reviews, thoughts and whatever else you think the rest of the community might find interesting. Along with this, we'll be giving you our own, unique slant on league coverage and supply you with mix shoutboards so you can arrange PCWs for fun or for our own tournament which we'll be holding. And not least the opportunity to gain sponsorship from high profile investors who may well want you to play a starring role in their future.

As some of you may or may not remember last year during the summer the eSa ran alot of 5on5 cups and we're back with a vengeance in the coming weeks we'll be launching a series of 5on5 night cups along with our 1on1 "hotshots" competitions.

We're not competition for the already great UK leagues but a helping hand. Does your team need practice for SGL or CSGN? CSGN? Our tournaments are the perfect field on which to practice those new tactics or finalise some team work. Our aim is to improve the UK scene by giving teams a chance to impress the leagues to get in with a better chance of getting in the next season or keeping your spot!

To encourage teams and players to sign up we've decided to give away a Razer Copperhead Tempest Blue as well as a SteelSeries SteelPad 5L, and all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning these fantastic prizes is register! The winner will be chosen 30 days from now!

For more information just head over to the website here! or pop into our irc channel at #esalliance
