slimline PS2's

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has a slimline PS2 and ever had any problems with it? I've had mine for a couple of years now and for the past year or so I've basically had to put anything heavy ontop of the power lead going into the PS2 (the little thin connecter with yellow on it) just to keep the power going. It's now got to the were it wont even switch on anymore.
Anyone out there had a similar problem and know of a fix? I've tried looking on the net but to no avail.. 
Any help would be appreciated, need to play proevo 6, cheers

well if its the game lead they cost like 2 quid in Game
power lead* fuck sake
dont buy a slim ps2. I run a pawn brokers. I don't buy em as they always break. To much in to little room.
ps2 is shit
