Gaming, the way the community wants

So, as some of you have gathered, I'm involved with this new tv channel which will be airing in May.
We are going to be running Leagues and Tournaments through our website, and then hold playoffs at our headquarters, for various games, xbox360, ps3, PC. This will expand, to big Lan events, etc etc.
There's some really good leagues out there; but I'm just wanting to know, what you the community want?
Ladder system? League system? more Tournaments than Leagues or ladders? fixed fixtures, or something a lil bit more open?
Would help a lot, cos I wanna do what the community wants!!

Just want to add, Im aksing you guys, as we're going to be UK only, and CS:1.6 / CS
ource will be the leading PC games.
Fixed Leagues like the football ones always gain the most interest.

Even though i dont play CS thought id share
prizefight styled pot system sourneys every week, ppl put money into a pot, winning team takes all. so if it was £10 per team and 8 teams, winning team takes £80. this way the pro'est will dominate, the undadogs will get motivated the undadogs will surprise the uk scene every1 will then ass lick them etc etc

i agree with mort, do something similar to BWCSL, stops all the defaults and folding teams
thing is it wont stop teams folding at all, and then disputes will start as to who has the right to the teams spot when they fold
Get Uzi and Bliz running it and you'll soon be on freeview right up there with BBC and ITV.
Running an ESL type league for CS with LAN finals and maybe even weekly LAN matches

with the finals being shown on tv

GMan, if that happened if the team folded there wouldnt be a spot, the team would be removed altogether
If there was something like this that existed in the UK a lot less clans would fold as it would represent a big incentive. fsk see if you can talk to any of the EPS organisers. They will have some extensive first hand knowledge on how to approach running something like this!
ESL Prem first season ran really well and the UK was going to get its own pro series of ESL with the winner getting into the ESL Invite league. This ment 4kings would have had to compete in it to qualify.
But..
EPS UK would be good or something of that sort
when will you start showing all this on tv?
