I started reading this thread about an hour ago.. then I started to watch Radiohead videos... then I started to get into a debate over how similar Muse are to radiohead.

THEN, I read a 9 page thread on some music critics' forum on Muse vs Radiohead whilst listening to the two respective bands simultaneously.

THEN I realised! Sigur Ros and Radiohead sound really similar

(Especially 'Fake Plastic Trees' and 'Hoppipolla'

im really not a fan of radiohead but i love muse. they cant be the same gg to that arguement. There are shitloads of arguements like that, one is that coheed are just a blatent ripoff of rush (because the guys voice soudns a bit similar basically), then coheed got asked about it and only one of them had ever listened to rush (not the guy who writes the songs).

people just get stuck into old bands that have gone down the shitter and cant accept that new bands do a similar thing 100 times better
