Basically i'm looking to buy a laptop for around £650, just looking for some help to find a good enough spec don't want some shitty lappy :|

I used to just buy high-end laptops (stupidly expensive) and they aren't the way for gaming at allllll
- if you want a gaming laptop it'll be chunky, overheat loads and weigh a tonne!

try www.pcspecialist.co.uk hanny you can spec your own.
or theres a decent HP in the argos book for £799 its 4GB DDR3, GeForce 9600 512MB with a 2GHz processor which is more than enough for CS.
Go into pc world and ask if they have any last of's or end of line machines, I picked up my Acer laptop for 400 quid doing that nearly a year ago
centrino 1.6, 2 gig ram, 160 gig hdd & Geforce 7600 256mb which plays cod4 and cs quite nicely.

nah xps are the budget gaming laptops...i got mine for 774

the only reason they are cheap, so i've heard, is because the parts are cheap (compared to say apple and sony) BUT i've had this laptop for 6 odd months and no problems, runs all games perfectly on mid-high settings

yep got this one for 780 inc a 10% off voucher that i found on the net, its sick runs cs perfectly, has 4gig ram 8600gt go 256mb 2.6 duo core 2
