Hello!
Just a short and sweet question really, if you live in the north-west can you please do me a big favour as I am looking to change my ISP:
- Go to www.speedtest.net and paste the result here.
- I know us UKCSers like to whine but can you give me an honest answer about how good your connection is for gaming? Ping/Choke.Loss/Feel?
- Oh and where exactly you are, and what ISP you have.
- Oh oh and what service and how much you pay for it.

Never really had problems with it, doesn't feel bad when playing CS.
cRueL I was with plus.net and there pings were way lower then that, have u gotten interleaving turned off?

No you spaz, you have to ring the ISP and ask them, or email their tech support.
Although this thread may give you a general idea of what an ISP is like in a certain region, the chances are that each ISP's performance changes from exchange to exchange, so unless you know someone on the same exchange as you, your still going to have to get lucky.

i'm from leeds, 10-20 ping on UK servers, 20-30 on german servs. 10mb virgin media, my connection couldn't be any better imo, never lag out, low pings good dl speeds, i never upload so dno about that, oh and it's �25 a month xoxo

I have the same as you Sheck, but I get 35-40 on UK servers, 55-60 on German even tho im 400m from my exchange :@

yeh dude ring plusnet up and ask them to turn it off my ping was like yours with it turned on maybe abit lower like 30-40...and when i got it turned off dropped to 10-20
