I call upon the kind minds and hearts of the UK Gaming community to help a brother in some degree of need.
I have a friend who wants to build a gaming PC, he already has a monitor and peripherals so all he is after is a case with all the bits in it.
He has a budget of around £600 and obviously wants the best he can get for this amount of hard-earned cash.
So if anyone has spotted any good deals at the moment, any well reputed sites they can post or perhaps a cheap and powerful 2nd hand PC selling, please help out.

cclonline i meant, ermmm, eclipse-computers have been good in the past.
get on the overclockers.co.uk forums and ask them to price you one up, after that you could have a look around for all the components at the cheapest price and not buy them from overclockers necessarily.

I'd go with this build as it's got a fantastic card, best in the market right now also IF you want it has crossfire for the future as well

Sick case, 4 fans, unreal cooling, the air actually comes out cold
nice size psu
4gigs of reaper 800mhz
sick cpu, nice overclocker,
card is unreal
mobo is NICE and has support for xfire for another hd4870 (not that youll need 1)
Unreal pc, stick another HD4870 in there when he gets the cash, not that you will need it with todays games the 4870 should destroy most things at high settings easily, imagine what 2 will put out, well ill tell you when i get my rig next week
anyway comes in at 609 pounds sterling, add anther 16pounds onto that and they will send it all put together and the drivers in boxes, hope it helps mate.

sunzz spec is nice but for a little extra money i'd get PC8500 memory rather than the PC6400.
I'd also go for a different brand HDD haven't heard many good things about Hitachi's.
Best drives in imo are Samsungs/Western Digitals.
By the way, the person who I'm trying to get this sorted for is mentally disabled, so you'll have to be a specific as possible.

^^ lol, but all jokes aside, I don't see the point in the 8500ram, its MINISCULE in terms of what you can process faster so much so that with 4gigs of pc6400 running at 800mhz against the pc8500 you're not going to notice it in anyway when rendering images/video/playing games.
I do agree, i actually meant to pick the diamond back HDD, i think i hit the hitachi by mistake
does the company put the computer together or are u just buying separate there
toko for an extra 16pounds sterling they will build the pc for you and send you out all the drivers needed when you boot up, you dont really need to buy an os as lets face it they're not hard to download.
where is this option?

yeah ive orderd a pc but dont have a clue how to pay for it, no where to put credit details in
cant access my email and even by phone the email i got from my order just comes up with a load of shit like remitee order: 4645***** etc shit, so confused
Toko, you have to pay international bank transfer, takes about 3 days for them to receive the money then they send the pc out the next day, they should give you details of their bank and iban etc etc, they don't accept cc unless you're in GERMANIA

yeah did the transfer this morning, they only ask for the iBN num and the switch one, so i just hope my details come up when the tranfers comes through so they know that i have paid.

Sorry about the long delays, like i said NO need for another gfx as the HD4870 under performs the Nvidia 280gtx by about 5% for half the money. (Best cards out there right now, but for value nothing touches the HD4870) Get another card in the new year when prices will drop dramatically, anyway post something when you get the pc would like to see how it runs for you, make sure you stick in 64bit vista as without it you'll only be using
3.2 gigs of ram with xp.

I'd actually be happy to ship you over vista 64 bit ultimate I have it here, might cost me 5 euro but feck it, its not much.

Haha, toko isn't the sharpest guy when it comes to hardware and stuff, but put him on an aim_map and he's the quickest youll find!
Thanks again for helping sunzz, he doesnt have internet at home so he can only talk when he's at work. It would be so helpful if you could send him a copy of vista, ill give you a couple of quid on paypal when i get back to bolton if you did.
