Ok - as im sure most of you will be aware there has been trouble getting teams for the event and with a large amount the teams we had dropping out due to money issues we are having to drop the team numbers of the tournament down.

The format will be 2 groups of 4, everyone plays everyone, but as its only 8 teams.. all teams progress through the 2nd day. The benefit of this being that no teams have to go home on the first day, and EVERYONE is guarenteed 5 games minimum with 2 days of play.
Plus the tournament will start a bit later and should be finished in good time so everyone should be out of the centre by 10 or so. The first group will be schedualed to arrive for 1pm on the Saturday .
The prize for the event although cut down will be
£375 1st Place
£125 2nd Place
There will be a prize for 3rd place also either in the way of free entry to the next event or free time to use on the computers in the future for a possible bootcamp. We are still open for possible mix team's to make up another few spaces and there are still a few spots open on teams.
So if anyone is looking for a team or who's team want to play now that everyonw is guarenteed 2nd day games, do let us know as soon as possible. Of course we need to start sorting out groups and fixtures, so the cut of date will be midnight on Wednesday for any teams/players who want to attend, so make sure you let us know asap if your interested.
The event is taking place this weekend, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August 2008 and is priced at £25 per player.
Also remember we'll have fucapo on hand to sell at the event, so its your chance to try their new crazy energy gum! Hopefully all things should work out and we'll see you at the weekend!
