After a poor ESWC Masters event, the SoA management have announced the removal of their 1.6 team. Rumours began to circulate after the team were removed from GameGune and the confirmation of their dismissal came today.

The time has finally come. Applications have closed; Teams have been selected and Fixtures have been generated for GBGL's CPL Map Cup.

16 teams will battle it out over 3 different CPL maps, with the final being held in the ever popular de_cpl_mill. Don't expect an easy ride along the way. de_cpl_strike, and de_cpl_fire both have the qualities of amazing team based maps, meaning that tactics are everything. A well placed flash, or a devastating smoke can be the difference between rounds on these maps. Good luck to everyone who is competiting.
