Plasa is back to the playing fields after a break of 1 year.

Plasa formed back in 2005 with the lineup of roachz, realf1re, han-g, muh and kaaschaaff and achieved good success. The new team will be striving to regain that respect in the dutch community and will be attending up and coming LAN events in the UK and NL.

The new plasa line-up:

They are currently competing in the Amateur Series of ESL hoping to push into the ESL Pro Series sponsored by Fujitsu Systems. The next LAN event that they will be attending is Regroup LAN in Holland. Support them in #plasa.

The Kode5 Groups have been announced today! Dignitas were seeded 17th out of 21 teams and the groups are as follows (seedings in bracket):

Looks like the UK's representative dignitas have been drawn into one of the hardest groups! The group stages are followed by a single elimination bracket featuring best of 3 maps. Kode5 starts this weekend in Moscow, Russia. Good luck!

Update: It has been announced on Team-aAa's website that McP.emuLate can no longer attend due to problems with Mickael "mSx" Cassisi's visa.

It it unsure what will happen to the groups as emuLate were in group B, if there will be a reshuffle of groups or not.

The ESWC UK Online Qualifiers 2008 is underway, with most of the games being played tomorrow. Due to Dignitas' busy schedule this week preparing for KODE5 (this weekend), they already played their game a couple of days ago, easily beating Guccie's team, unnamed.

8:00am BST - Group A (dignitas) & D Begins
10:00am BST - 30-minute Break
13:30pm BST - Group B & C Begins
15:30pm BST - 30-minute Break

Sunday, May 11th

8:00am BST - Quarter-Finals (Best Of Three Format)
10:30am BST - Semi-Finals (Best Of Three Format)
13:30pm BST - 3rd Place Playoff (Best Of Three Format)
16:00pm BST - Grand Final (Best Of Three Format)

As emuLate have had to pull out, there have been some changes in the Groups. emuLate have been removed, Roccat has been moved in to replace them, and Damage Control has been moved into Group A.
