Last week our friends at clanbase announched the teams for the new clanbase opencup season. The cup that is there from the start of competative cs has always been a title to gain respect. The road is long and hard especially with the pings having vs east european opponents. The UK is represented by 3 teams in this years version.

Today Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt announced his decision to leave Mousesports. He cites poor motivation as one of the reasons for his departure. Mousesports will now play as a mix team at the EPS finals and are hoping to acquire Navid "Kapio" Javadi, Tim "silver" Hochgrebe and Manuel "Tixo" Makohl in early 2007. Michael "neo" Mitrega and Martin "fleks" Wehrmann have also expressed a wish to leave the team with these upcoming changes.

See For Yourself and Trademark-Gamers sit atop the Dustworld SGLi this week with a perfect record of played two won two. With the match between the not coming until the end of the season both teams no doubt will be looking to continue their unbeaten starts to the season for as long as possible.

Tonights featured match will be contested between Trademark-Gamers and ForsakeN amongst the paper thin walls of de_nuke. Join Jay and find out if more players die from a harsh wallbanging than in honorable face to face shoot outs. The one thing we do know for sure is that by the time both teams are done spamming the walls it should be renamed to de_colander. Elsewhere tonight, See For Yourself defend their unbeaten record against Wink who always pull something out of the bag to run all their opponents close. The Last Resort! who lost out in a classic match vs c4u on stone last week will be pitted agsinst noFeaR! who could not be seperated from UFO in a draw last week ( Unbearable Fucking Ownage themselves meet clanONE tomorrow), finally highfive and Church lock horns in what promisese to be a close match.

After the recent announcement that Coopsy and co are back with the popular Landed LAN series today its finally time to announce the 10th LAN for the Landed boys.

Taking place from the 19th to 21st January, 2007 at the usual Landed venue, Oxford Brookes Students' Union, the BYOC event has capacity for up to 160 players and will feature high quality, professionally run tournaments by gamers for gamers in the following games:

- *Update* Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5
- CounterStrike Source 5v5
- Warcraft III Frozen Throne 1v1
- Quake 3 1v1
- Guitar Hero 2 1v1
- FuhQuake (QW) 2v2

There will also be a range of servers where we aim to host Battlefield 2/ BF2142, UT2004, Quakeworld, Warsow and more.

The bar area, as previous events, will see the return of Projector Games and their unique massively multiplayer projector screen carnage!

Coupled with the chance to catch up on those mates from previous Landed events or put a face to those you've not met yet and share a beer, its already shaping up to be a great event, and a snip, at £30 a ticket.

New day, new clan. Today its lights turn to form, comprised of some old famous faces, this team is looking to shake up the UK scene, especially in the wake of the TMG rumours.

Basically we've been mixing in a4 all the time and thought since the 6 of us play this much we might aswell make a clan of it, not sure on the leagues we want to play yet just going to see what happens and we have geo so don't expect too many lans in the near future!
