About 2 months ago endEffect was restarted by bomber with fsk, Hektic, loading, and wingie with little success leaving bomber as the only remaining player in endEffect. Yesterday endEffect announced their new roster which saw Highlander, KiD, Martyn and Nitrony become part of the line-up alongside bomber.

This is what bomber had to say regarding the situation.
"Well fsk started working most nights, loading had exams and went inactive from cs, wingie then went on holiday to Hong Kong and had no interest in cs when he came back and whilst wingie was on holiday, Hektic started getting back into wow and well here we are now! We decided to come back with a new line-up which is looking great at the moment!"

This means endEffect are left with the following line-up...

Highlander
KiD
Martyn
Nitrony

The team can be found at #endEffect, and the team will also be attending Infinity-Gaming 3 over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd in Swindon so expect to see them there.

In other news goldbrick have also finalised there line-up with immuNe being added to the team. immuNe had this to say regarding his linkage with goldbrick.
"I originally knew the goldbrick boys through dave(w1cked) who had been in a clan with me for over 6 months, so I knew he was a good player, and I have played against/with goldbrick in the past and they have proven to be a strong team, so I was delighted when I was asked to join. We will be attending WSVG in October, but unfortunately will not be attending IG3 due to lack of time to practice for the event."

Today sees the start of the WSVG Intel Summer Championships. A number of teams dropped out prior to the event leaving a very open field. The tournament starts with two single elimination rounds with most teams only entering the tournament in the secound round.

Over at GotFrag they've interviewed two of the main players still in the CPL/ISC competition. They are Eduardo "eduzin" Chagas and Harley "dsn" Örwall.

Heres a sample from each interview.

What was your reaction when Mibr won ESWC? Were you happy for your homeland rivals or did you not care?

: Well personally I’m very happy for them. Obviously I’m a little bit jealous but that’s just normal. They're a great bunch of guysm they deserved it. They're great players, great team, and the owner of Mibr, Paulo, really deserved this win; he was looking for this win for a long time. He’s invested a lot of money into the team and finally Mibr shown something back, so I’m very happy for them.

How satisfied with your team’s performance at ESWC are you?

: I think we played really good I mean there were some matches where we didn’t perform as well as we could – like in the match vs. SoA and obviously in the finals it was a big disappointment for us, coming so far and beating so many top teams, then losing big to Mibr. But overall I’m really satisfied by ending up second; we lost to a good clan.

After failing to qualify for ESWC and losing some of their members to rivals GoodGame, Hostile Records went inactive. With the loss of their sponsorship from Electric and Musical Industries Ltd they have now announced their disbandment.

They will finish their run in the CB Eurocup.

Rassen "Rara" Abdou had this to say:

We would like to continue but without the sponsorship, it would be really difficult. We have some contacts but nothing is official yet. If nothing happens, I think that everyone will join the team that they find more appropriate,

ESL Anti-Cheat: Aequitas is the obligated program in this Nightcup, in addition the participating teams should record POV demos. The tournament starts at 20:00h and the participants should be online and ready by 19:45h. Any further information needed can be asked during Wednesday afternoon in our IRC channel, #esl.uk.
