Ex-professional gamer Ognian "steel" Gueorguiev of Team3D and LnD fame, winner of both a CPL and WCG title, has published an article on the anti-stratting phenomenon over at ESEA.

Here's a snippet:

"The difference between adaptation and anti-stratting can be defined as follows: adaptation is when one observes the tendencies and patterns of an opponent and begins selecting from one's strategy pool effective strategies which will be most effective in light of the opponent's decisions. Anti-stratting is what occurs when one attempts to change their own strategy pool into the apparent opposite of what the opponent can deal with."

German Pro Series Finals
Over in the German Section of ESL their season is coming to an end at the EPS Season 8 Finals with Live for Speed, Fifa06, Warcraft 3 and of course Counter-Strike being played. The prize fund for the CS tourny is 55,000 Euro.

Week 1 of the SGL Invite starts tomorrow as the league was restarted following a poor turn out by the clans previously.

The map will be de_inferno a very even map that tends to favour the team with best team work.

Its good to see old skool clanONE back into UK CS and they face tough time vs. trademark-gamers aka ACM in their first match. clanONE will need to be on top of their game to beat tmg. Prediction 16-8 to trademark-gamers.
