Speedi, Kixer and Red` leave NoA

Posted by ukm|ke on the 1st of January 2006 at 7:21 PM in Team News    0 Comments

Team NoA has just announced the official departure of two of its players, Kixer and Speedi. No reasons behind this have yet been released, and a statement should be released shortly by BrandTheGame, the managing company of the team.

With some dissapointing results so far and the loss of Naikon to Catch-Gamer a while ago, the new generation of team NoA, which replaced the inter-continental one seems to be struggling a lot in tournaments, especially in the third season of the WEG were they performed poorly.

NoA's lineup is left with:

no Dark
no XeqtR

*Update - Red' has also parted ways with the NoA team*

REAL and oops join Catch Gamer

Posted by ukm|ke on the 1st of January 2006 at 7:26 PM in Team News    0 Comments

Norwegian outfit Catch Gamer have just added two new players from one of there best rivals. The two new players are REAL and oops, two players arriving directly from team9's squad. Both of these players are rising rookies from the Norwegian scene.

Catch-Gamer's roster:

no bsl
no juve9le
no Naikon
no REAL
no oops
no Juzam (Backup)
no zevy (Backup)

Juzam and zevy are backup players, but will remain in the roster and the team.

team9 is in abit of a bad position at the moment, losing there sponsorship with the team9 lan cafe and now losing two of there best players it is unclear what they will do.

There remaining roster:

no Jungelbobo
no prb
no xione

elemeNt and fleks join mousesports

Posted by ukm|ke on the 1st of January 2006 at 7:44 PM in Team News    0 Comments

Ola "elemeNt" Moum has officialy signed a contract and joined german powerhouse mousesports. This wasnt expected because he played for United5 at CPL Winter 2005. He has being bouncing between clans of late and one wonders if this will be a solid move for him.

The other player that has joined is Martin "fleks" Wehrmann
Fleks has played in several top German teams over the past few years, including un-named, Team64 and a-Losers. His most recent team has been OCRANA which died at the end of they year.

MouseSports's roster consists of:

de Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel
no Ola "elemeNt" Moum
at Franz "gore" Burghardt
at Michael "PapsT" Schmidt
de Roman "Roman" Reinhardt
de Martin "fleks" Wehrmann

We will see if this will be succesfull. No doubt about the quality of the 2 players but the stabilty is more worrying. We will see how it goes. GL

ethernet new lineup!

Posted by ukrv3z on the 1st of January 2006 at 8:12 PM in Team News    0 Comments

New Year so fresh starts and headaches. Today Ethernet announced their new line-up to compete in the UK Counter-Strike scene this year.

Many UK players found a home because Ethernet decided to let 4 new players join the team.

The 4 new people are pretty known throughout the scene. The following players have joined.

uk Aaron "Realf1re" Hennessy
uk Gareth "Finch" Muirhead
uk Alex "Armorking" Davison
sx Stu "Highlander" Christie

The team will also have the service of the following persons who will also be in the new team.

uk Kristen "dracone" Asquith
uk Ben "KiD" Leoarlson
uk Cal "devine" Tasker

This leaves the team with 7 players which is quite much if you ask me. Let’s hope that will work out. Besides that it looks like a good team so I bet they are looking forward to several leagues and IG2 LAN.
