The Formation of LiquidFX

Posted by ukblubs on the 3rd of October 2005 at 12:30 AM in Team News    0 Comments

LiquidFX

Yesterday around 8:00pm seen another UK clan splash onto the scene. They are known as LiquidFX. As 2 departures from the team “badattitude - #badattitude” Darn “juni” Mcniven and Rich “BitX” Cameron this resulted in the lads at BA kicking there whole .uk squad. With 2 deciding to stay together they joined forces with Daniel “arcane” Conlan and Tom “kadE” Stoner. Then came along there 5th who was forming “Voodoo.Gaming” but decided that joining LiquidFX held more prospects for the future.

This makes there lineup:

Daniel “arcane” Conlan
Darn “Juni” Mcniven
Rich “BitX” Cameron
Tom “kadE” Stoner
First “xe0n” Second

I asked Darn “Juni” Mcniven a few questions about the team.

Q1. What is your first plans as a clan?

(Lqd|Juni) My first plans as a clan is to establish a nice environment for the members of the team to be involved with. I would like all members to feel extremely comfortable with the position that they are in and to enjoy themselves the best they can.

Q2. What leagues do you intend to apply/join ?

(Lqd|Juni) At this time in moment we will be starting off with the unpredictable new league GBGL. This league looks like it has some form of potential. In my long run with LiquidFX I would like to move up into CSGN as well as many national well recognised leagues. My main aim is to get this team to the next major UK lans.

Q3. New clans seem to fold after 2 weeks what are you going to do to ensure this doesn’t happen to LiquidFX.

(Lqd|Juni) As I said above, a goal of mine is to make sure all members are extremely comfortable with the position they are in, so that they really are happy. I have also made sure my lineup is the correct players serious teams need, All 5 of my players are serious, commited, highskilled and just all round wanting to do well lads. They know the measures a well existing clan needs.

Well I wish good luck to LiquidFX and hope everything goes to plan.

*- yu KGB Team Recieve default over uk Firesomething

Hello boys and girls, I hope you all had a superb weekend like me full of booze, woman and hilarious actions. Since we are here all together to talk about cs I will get down to business.
In the premier division last week we saw MIEN win their 3rd match in a row what puts them top of the table with 9 points. In the slipstream of the MIEN team we see synergy and choke both on 6 points. Since there were some problems with seven and ge4orce in previous weeks we see that 2 teams tomorrow make their debut. Batterpowered a team with oldsk00lers that was made for wcg qualifier took the chance to also play in csgn, besides them we see alltherage making there first appearance tomorrow.

The following games are gonna be played:

uk goldbrick vs uk Battery Powered!

We start as always with goldbrick who are running a steady season being placed mid table versus the new entered team battery powered. Goldbrick have been working there way up lately after a bad start in the league, with a really solid victory last week over the KGB I see them have the confidence that is needed to set up a streak of winning games. As for batterypowered I cant say much at this moment, all that I can say is that I like the fact that this team with players that been around for along time are back playing again. It is always good to have a mix of the so called oldskoolers with the new people to keep the scene running. Lets see who are playing tonight!

Players to watch: rattlesnake, darryl (gb) - ssj, morph (bp)

uk Choke vs uk highfive

A clash between 2 teams that been around for some time now. Both being rated as good sides and besides that they can also count on friendly personalities in there teams. Choke are doing well this season with there current 3rd place. Highfive on the other hand performs under there normal levels but there are some reasons for that. With some team members going to university or having computer problems there not able to practice a lot these days, therefore they cant be considered as favorites for tonight’s game. I hope I see the h5 team back on the normal track a.s.a.p Smile.

Players to watch: ktl, megaman (choke) - monkE, loading, rule (h5)

uk AllTheRage vs uk ImaGine

Alltherage recently joined the league and many see them as the favorite for the title. Being a all English team with big aspirations to be a contender in the euro scene makes them the team to watch tonight. But they won’t have it easy tonight that is going to be for sure, knowing img as a team that is willing to practice a lot and also who are comfortable playing on nuke it can be a hard one for atr tonight. I hope the match is going to be a good one were atr will be tested for the first time this season.

Players to watch kardy, ady (atr) - reality, savas (img)

uk syNergy vs uk Made in England

Both teams are doing real good in the league so far, synergy are surprising a lot of people every week with good team play and skill, MIEN have showed last week they have also the consistency to perform well on maps like fire etc which was not sure at the start. In the time that the players of MIEN were playing for c4u they had a really good overall game play for nuke beating respected teams European teams on it. If they start out tonight as ct and have a good start they win with comfort because of the past experience and team play. However a game is a game and not everything always goes how you think is goes. This game will be very important for the outcome of this season I think, if MIEN wins they already have a gap with the rest and probably will cruise to the title. If synergy can win the league is all open again.

Players to watch: razeh, kalleh (syc) - trix, kae (MIEN)

uk Firesomething vs eu KGB team

Firesomething were a favorite at the start of the season but as it looks now there going to end more like mid table. Last week they had a hard game playing MIEN of fire but I see them winning this week on nuke. When I tuned in on hltv some weeks ago I saw them playing a game for ESL on nuke. The game was completely dominated by fs and some good team play was shown. If they manage to pull that out of the bag tomorrow also I see them winning the game.
KBG so far haven’t showed anything special. Last week KGB lost with big numbers what puts them on place 7 in the league for now. Not very special but tomorrow is a new day with new chances.

Players to watch: nickje, abla (fs) - vlada (kgb)

Well that was it for this week's premier, i hope you all appreciated it and going to tune in tomorrow on the hltv to see the outcome of the matches. I wish you a happy watching.

cotw #13

Posted by ukpie on the 3rd of October 2005 at 4:10 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

This weeks cotw comes a little bit late, I was working yesterday so apologies for that. uk Robulus is the person in the clip this week, from uk Megamice, and another week for the almighty AWP.

Description

He is playing the uk Spartans as he defends bombsite A. He goes crazy with his AWP as he makes some nice reflex shots aswell as quick scoping, and manages to take down all 5 enemies. Great sequence and he displayes good movement skills.

--> cotw #13: Robulus <--

Note: Small error in the cotw.txt, this is actually the 13th but I've put in 12! ;-0

Please keep your cotw's coming, you can send to any @ in #ukct, preferably myself or Mango^.

Ouch! become Team Rival

Posted by scoSilver on the 3rd of October 2005 at 5:37 PM in Team News    0 Comments

Less than a month ago a new American clan was formed - with the name of Ouch! Gaming. The clan contained players from well known CAL-i clans like WEW, Team3D, United5 and GamerCo.

Team Ouch were predicted a great future and in their first big event - the American WCG Qualifier, they barely lost to the powerhouse of Team3D (13-16) (13-16). As of today, Ouch Gaming will be joining Team Rival, and become their new Counter-Strike team. There will be no roster changes, so we'll be seeing the same players but with the new tag.

The new Team Rival line-up consists of the following players:

us kEEN
us boms
us medias
us cripple
us PaTyoJoN
us Ph33R
us MasternooK

We wish the new Team Rival the best of luck in their upcoming tournaments and events!

Team B&W Are Back In Action

Posted by netshibble on the 3rd of October 2005 at 8:31 PM in Team News    0 Comments

Team Black & White were formed for the first time in early 2001. After the extended inactivity of some members, it was decided that the once-promising team should be reinvigorated with new blood. Only a few weeks ago they came back with an entirely new team. This new roster has proved it themselves last week by winning the Q-Bits cup. With the first position placing they won five free tickets for the Q-Bits lan in November. Aside from the Q-Bits LAN they're also practicing hard for the renown (in the Netherlands) Dutch LAN, Netgamez, that starts on the 14th of October.

The new lineup of nl team B&W consists of:
nl VENYR
nl VYNC
nl Xpressie
nl Soujah
nl coder
be kook

We wish B&W's new team good luck in the future and at the upcoming LAN events. Don't forget to take a look on their site: www.teambw.nl and also visit #B&W on Quakenet to arrange any PCWs.
