CSGN Div 1 Week #1 Results

Posted by scoSilver on the 13th of September 2005 at 10:28 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

From [csgn]:
" Division 1 hasn't had quite as much of a shakeup as the Premier division, but there are still some new faces to be seen. uk GamingORB have a few of syNergy's players from last season, and look to be a solid team. The other newcomers to CSGN are uk AcuMen . They've built up a name for themselves recently and we look forward to seeing how they do in the coming season of CSGN. We've promoted three teams from Division 2 to Division 1 for this season, and they are uk gOtgame - the division runners up, ie wink - the division winners - and uk Flame Instinct who you're more likely to recognise as vVv, who had an impressive showing and were deemed good enough for the promotion. All of these teams should be able to compete well in the higher division and will get their chance to prove they belong, starting tonight. uk PLAYED! have come out of inactivity and should be a challenge for any team this season, they'll be looking to win the division and gain promotion. "

CSGN Div 2 Preview (week #1)

Posted by ukrv3z on the 13th of September 2005 at 10:51 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

Today we see the third day of CSGN season 7. Tonight we have div2 playing; a division that was won last season by wink as always shows a really close season with decisive games in the final weeks. This year we see a lot of new team’s init so it will be hard to predict the outcome of the matches but ill give it a try.

uk team.nuked vs uk withdrawN!

Last season nuked ended on a 6th place in midtable and I think this season we can find them around this place again. withdrawN however are new in the league and therefore they haven’t got any history, what to expect from them? I don’t know but they won’t be accepted for nothing.

uk teamX vs uk overRated

The second match is a match between 2 teams that have been around for some time now, team-x say daylight in 1476 and since then they managed to be around with period of activeness and inactiveness. Last season managed to win the div4 league but this will be a lot harder. From what I know the team has practiced a lot for the map dust2 so let’s hope everything goes well tonight and practice will be rewarded. Overrated ended 6th last season in div 1 after inherited some losses so I don’t know what is the reason they have been placed a division lower. Maybe it’s the fact they had some line-up changes and went inactive during summer. If Gandofini got his team on the track is something we have to see tonight. This is going to be a good close match I reckon.

uk The Incarnate vs uk foxy!

Ti team have been around for some years now and in this time they always managed to be a safe clan doing some good results in the division they were put in. Last season they became 4th and ill bet the aim for a higher spot this season. Foxy relegated last season from division 1, again after inheriting some losses so I can really see what there skill level is. I think this is going to be as close as the game between team-x and overrated.

uk DigitalDemise vs uk ethernet

A few weeks ago Digi was formed, a team that consists of players of the former turtlesports and dreamslay! The players are all skilled and I see these guys maybe go for the top 2 spots this season. The other team doesn’t need no introduction because I bet everyone have heard there name. And often the name isn’t called with a positive loading, after they went to cpl UK were they did pretty poor after dominating online people wonder how they do on csgnac. Well game is going to be a close one what is often going to happen in this league during the season. Whoever did the most preparation will go home with the win.

uk on our own vs uk riZe Gaming

Last but not least we have the recently formed ooo with players consisting of casual5 which unfortunately folded a few weeks ago. The players played along time with each other so I bet they won’t be surprised tonight. riZe won last div3 season and therefore they fully deserve the div spot. For every team that move up a place it will be hard to get of a good start, but maybe tonight we see something different.

Good luck to all players and teams!

CSGN Div 2 Week #1 Results

From [csgn]:
" Division 2 has historically been one of the most evenly matched, and has contained some very good teams ( uk RemOte.uk, uk euthanasia and the uk endEffect team who won the first CSGN LAN). This season, as with the other divisions we have new names, old names, and familar names. uk withdrawN! caused a stir in Season 5 when they won Division 3, but not without controversy. They were accused of hacking against vLr! which cast a shadow over what was an impressive season. Their lineup is slightly different now, but sAmAdorA will still be blasting out the tunes ingame! uk ethernet are known by many, but apparently liked by few. They've also had some screenshot controversy in the last few days, but none of them are to blame. uk DigitalDemise and uk on our own are both clans with a hybrid makeup of several of last seasons teams who say they now have the dedication to do better. Look for strong showings from them at the beginning of the season, and maybe towards the end! uk teamX had a good season earlier in the year in Division 4, and will now be looking to carry their form onto Division 2. Dust2 isn't their best of maps though so while the season might not start out too well, I'm sure they'll prove any doubters wrong. uk riZe Gaming also gained promotion, although from Division 3. They pretty much dominated their division last year, and their aim will be to repeat that acheivement. We have several clans from last season, uk team-nuked, uk #oveRated, uk #foxy! and uk The Incarnate. Will their experiences from last season help them to gain promtion in Season 8 or have they found their home in Division 2? Stay tuned this season and you'll find out! "

CSGN Div 3 Preview (Week #1)

Posted by ukchris198 on the 15th of September 2005 at 1:29 AM in Gaming News    0 Comments

CSGN division 3 tonight and althought there wont be the same interest as in the top couple of leagues there should still be some good matches here for your entertainment should you be bored or cant login into WoW.

uk Super Breasts vs uk never MISS twice
- well sb are nice bunch of guys and they can pull off some excellent results such as knocking acm out of sgl cup a couple of days ago. They just about stayed up this year and if they keep up those sort of results they will do much better this year. n2m are new to csgn and imo messy at least smoke hacks or used too, but their nice guys and this aint a pcw; they could be a strong team in this division.
* key players : gory (sb) , lor (n2m)

uk satisfied! vs uk over The Top
- satisfied have pld well with the ac winning div4 last year and pending on how much practise they do could accomplish the same success this year. ott are imo the best team in the div but i know they are very inactive. im hopeing they have 5 and are ready for tomorrow coz this should be a good match
* key players : Dreeenen (satis) , Bodin (ott)

uk Asylum.uk vs uk 2 Excess
- auk have been around for ages and finally in div 3. altho skilled players they will be a fun mix reallly. (WoW is mainly to blame) I dont know anything about 2 Excess or any of their players; and im guessing they got in coz Obsidian plays for them. saying that they can prove themselves this year and i wish they all the best
*key players : Garamick (auk) , shocks (2E) <-- he has the lowest steam id

uk Luck vs uk Harmless
- Luck play div3 this year and with a couple of new recruits. Trebs was ownage at mg and if they can show good teamplay they should do well. Harmless have been around a while now and finally make it into csgn. Ive seen harmless play v well and ive seen them play bad, but they got some gd players and i expect them get off to a gd start
*key players : trebs (luck) , ogg (harmless)

uk origin unknown vs uk unique!
-orun have had many lineup changes and with so many people listed on csgn site, who knows whos gonna start. they have the potential to do well and depending on which cfg maj chooses could kick some ass. unique have come back off a win at mg (where they practised non stop and went to bed early) so should be rdy to take on their first full season in csgn. gl to em !
*key players : madbarry (orun) , arlo (unq)

GL DIVISION 3 and show us what your made of !!!!!

The Endzone

Posted by ukasylum on the 15th of September 2005 at 3:45 AM in Team News    0 Comments

Team Endzone is currently back from inactivity. Both the management and the CS division have been going through some changes and now they are back in action. For the CS divison Team Endzone has added new faces as well as old faces.

EZ.CS consists of:

uk Jim "Fallen" Deer
uk David "vivi" Jones
uk Paul "b8z" Bates
uk Louie "dze" Danvers
nl Jos "zYPHER" Kroep

EZ.Management consists of:

noa Jordan "asylum" Goodman

Most of these players have been playing together for a while now. With vivi coming back to the lineup that makes 4 old Endzone team players while dze is the new addition to the team. The Endzone Organization has complete faith in our CS division and we hope to see good things come from them. Currently, they will be competing in SGL:1 for the time being while getting prepared to upcoming LAN events in the UK as well as Europe. You will be seeing Endzone bootcamping at the uk i-series 26th annual event, while also attending swe DreamHack, swe RixHack, nl Drome and nl Netgamez later in the future. Also, we have been asked when our website will be ready. There is no set point to the website being done due to the management wanting it to be perfect. But, for now the website will be coded and fully functional very soon.
