NiP are out of ECG2005!

Daniel 'Hyper' Kuusisto has been taken ill with severe 'flu and has been in bed in their hotel room constantly, and because NiP declined to bring any backup players or management and being late for the start of the tourny, they are out!

NiP is disqualified.

1. NiP declined to play with the NiP-Orga/Coach but wanted to recruit a better player --> This is not allowed (SEC rules)

2. NiP missed theyr car to the cebit area and were late --> SEC Leaders called NiP-members by mobilephone and kicked the team out of the tournament.

A quick statement was obtained from HeatoN over the phone:

"Yeah, it's true we're leaving for the airport here in Germany as we speak. Hyper has got a catch of the flu and he's so bad that he's still in bed back at the hotel room. It is really disappointing that something like this happened."

ECG isnt looking too good from a spectators point of view any more, and it turns out the players arent having much of a good time either, HeatoN wasnt best pleased:

"The only thing we did today was to sit around the event and wait for nothing. One of the biggest issues is trying to get a hotel room as near to the event as possible, which seems to be a major problem here. We are currently staying in a hotel that is one and a half hours from the event, which is really depressing"

Statement: "As we're a mix team at this event, it's safe to say that we arent expecting too much from ourselves. Hopefully luck will be on our side and we won't be put into a group with any of the 'big guns'. We're all experienced players, some more than others, but the only thing we lack is any tactics whatsoever, so don't expect too much out of us . If we all play well when needed and can gel together, I think maybe a top 5 showing is possible, I might be stretching abit far with that one but who cares!"

Obviously some new found confidence after the impressive victory in the CB ENC. Anyway these are the results for the Team-UK so far.

and out! ul to the boys , i watched the train game and being a mix team was always going to be difficult , they started T first and lost 13-2 and then went 3-1 down as CT and the game.
