Last night lastchance replaced [EYE] in Clanbase Eurocup. Im extremly pleased that we have another UK representative in the Eurocup. It seems that the UK scene is improving all the time as of late, with 4K owning it up at WEG and lastchance and ctx all coming through, the future looks bright for the UK. Also not to mention the win in the Clanbase Nations Cup can only bring more respect for the UK scene from the other Nations.

I wish lastchance the best of luck in this high profile competition and can only hope that they make the playoffs. The group lastchance have been put in is Group A and it looks like this:

As you can see this is an extremly hard group on paper. But if you are to win a place in the LAN finals to win your share of 7000 euros then you cant expect things to be easy :>

My predictions for the 2 group winners in Group A are OCRANA and e-star, but i really hope im wrong. I can't see OCRANA dropping a game to anyone as they are awesome at the moment but i can possibly see lastchance sneeking a tight second.

This match looks to be like an easy start for lastchance. In my opinion this is very good for lastchance as it will give them time to settle into the Eurocup.

Defusekids are having a rough time in the Eurocup right now. This could be to due to their 2 new additions to the Squad Apollo and Spacey from xstars. The teamplay just hasnt clicked in the matches ive seen vs calibre and OCRANA and i think lastchance wont have too much trouble bagging a win vs the belgians.

This match lastchance vs calibre is like Everton vs Liverpool, except not on the same scale ofcourse . I dunno if its me or not but lastchance always seem to be having calibre players merc for them and likewise for calibre mercing lastchance players, or maybe its just Kardy playing for both teams all the time. I dunno im confused P Anyways as weve seen, these two teams have met each other a few times. I THINK the record is 2 games won for lc and 1 game won for calibre. Kardy leaves calibre and joins lastchance, for me this is the penultimate fact why lastchance are now a better team than calibre in my opinion. Both lead by two great leaders Marcus and madSpunk this game is a really close 1 to call. So my prediction for this game is...

The other two games in the group that lastchance have to play are against e-star and OCRANA.ATI both these teams are powerhouse teams in Europe. If lastchance manage to beat one of these teams i think they will make it to playoffs pretty easily. Also if they beat one of these teams i think lastchance will really start to push into the International scene alot more and we could be seeing them attending a big International event in the near future. Earlier this morning, I was informed that another core member of Landed has now departed. After Landed failed to retain their GGL title in February, Smittins decided it would be best for him and his team if they parted ways. If this was not enough, I received some shocking news this morning.

Core founding member of the clan Jack has now decided to also step down from the team. The reasons are not 100% clear, although as far as I have gathered, Jack felt he would hinder Landeds progression and did not fit into their future plans. I caught a few words with Jack to see if I could get some more information.

What plans do you have for the future? will you continue to play cs?
I will do for the next week or two, if nothing comes up in that time I will probably quit and focus on real life.

What made you decide to leave Landed?
After I was made aware of the situation regarding players, the only way for landed to progress was without me therefor i made the decision to leave.

Today between 1am - 3am the latest version of CSM v2 cs manager version 2 shall be released.

CSM is an online manager game, where you manage a Counter-Strike clan.

You manage the clan by choosing tactics, training your players, buying and selling players. During each season your goal is to win your league and become better and better and compete against other managers. The cups that comes up now and then gives you further chance to succeed in being a great manager. You have to keep an eye on your clan assets and do wise decision in order to succeed and stay at top.

Make right choices and approve good sponsors and play to be number one.

To play CSM it cost a one time fee of around 1 euro. Payment of this membership fee is done via sending an SMS.

I found the previous CSM not so good and decided not to play it after about a week trying to. CSM v2 looks very promising and very fun to play.

You have the possibility to choose the position of each individual player as CT, and as Terrorist you will be able to set the routes through the map towards the bombsite. In addition, Ts will have “sync points” where they can synchronize their attacks to put maximum pressure on the CTs by attacking several positions from different angles at the same time.

Landed today recruited 4 new memebers into their team.

The 4 new players are from Monkeymagic and they are Smiffeh, Rav0r, Vertakill and Messiah. These are good pickups indeed. Seeing the departure of Jack a long standing member a few days ago the team now sees an 8 man team in Landed. All top calibre players that will be wanting to play. I dont understand how they can find good teamplay to compete at the top of the game with 8 players but all the same GL to them. Their team now is:

As seen in the results there was a very close game between ctx and 2s2p.
And quite a few impressive results from Choke, Forsaken and Lastchance. This is the first time Icelanding side Drake are playing in CSGN, after tonight they might be looking to cause a few upsets during the rest of the season good luck to them.
