CSGN I'views - Prem Week #1

Posted by ukenuex on the 2nd of March 2005 at 10:38 AM in Gaming News    0 Comments

With the first week of the new [csgn] season coming up, Realf1re has continued his Premiership preview, following on his predictions with those of the teams involved, as well as their other opinions regarding the season ahead. Here's a small sample:

Q) Looking at this seasons CSGN Premiership which teams do you feel will be your toughest challenge in the league?

[lc-|LozZA]

suppose the main threat for this season will be ctx, being that they have shown recent strong lan performance and are putting in the right amount of time to be one of the stronger uk teams. Im sure your guys (CAu) will be putting on some pressure with your new lineup aswell. No1 looks too scary though.

Q) Realistically where do you see your clan finishing this season in CSGN?

[lc-|LozZA]

1st!, if we acctually play our games, i.e not defaulting.

#suicidegaming week two fixtures

As some of you already know, there was a power problem at Redbus today. Problem, as in they ran out of it. This meant I was unable to get these details on the website before the matches were played - so here you are with what amounts more to a results round-up than anything else. Couple of matches were not played last night, one of which resulted in a default. uk pacifico have decided to call it a day and have been replaced by 5giants. Welcome on board fellas! Anyway, heres your results...

CSGN Spotlight - ctx

Posted by ukenuex on the 2nd of March 2005 at 5:51 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

As a follow-up to both his [csgn] Premiership week 1 predictions article and his Premiership interviews, Realf1re has continued his hard work with a bit of background information and history to one of the much-fancied teams for this season: uk Cortex Gaming (ctx). The article follows a brief history of the team, its original conception and how the line-up has developed into how it stands today. Below's a small snippet:

ctx's next event was @ GGL where they would face the likes of ONE, lastchance, Landed and Ants.uk. To any UK team bar maybe 4K this event would seem like one you would have to practice alot for in order to do well. Well ctx are one of those teams that pull all the stops outs on LAN as i found out at Landed and Unicon LAN Tongue Goddamn u INDY! Tongue Anyways to my surprise they had little weZ playing for them from UniCon. weZ proved to play really well @ GGL and bagged his place in one of the best teams in the UK at present. With wins over ONE 16-2 and lastchance 16-9(i think) this in my opinion puts ctx as the 2nd best team in the UK at the moment. I really can see ctx beating 4K on LAN and i really hope they do.

We are looking for last seasons national partners and possible new national partners to contact us to become partners this season. National partners take responsibility for the selection, management and finance of the team and its players. Most crucial is being able to finance travel to the final for all eligible players.
