The £2000 bloodline BYOC Counterstrike event is only hours away, theres some top UK Teams attending, So we should be in store for some excellent games. The tournament has some great prizes up for grabs as follows:
1st £2000, 5x Intel Pentium 3.5Ghz chip + Motherboards + 512MB RAM
2nd 5x Intel chipset Motherboards
3rd Jolt Clanserver for 3Months
Not shabby at all, as far as I can tell this is the 1st event in the UK with some top prizes, hopefully we can see more of these in the future.
Right now onto the teams!!
As far as I can tell, the main teams attending are as follows:
CAution - Realf1re, Flavas, Kristal, Wicked, Strider
Caution are entering the event with a last minute mix team, Im doubting that they will have prepared much, but Realf1re can be a great leader at times, so Im sure he can turn it around for them. With a highly skilled team, they could pull of some surprise wins vs the bigger teams in the event, but overall I dont see them finishing above 5th, who knows if this goes well could this become the new CAution team?
Lastchance - Ady, Madspunk, Hih1, Song, Milka
Possibly the favourites to clinch 1st, practicing hard as far as I can tell, and well who wouldnt with a 1st prize like the above available. Ady and Song will be the players to watch out for, and I can see these finishing top 3 if not winning it.
CTX - Rain, MH, AWOL, Nick, Nixoh, trippz
CTX, team Cortex! the mighty scouse terminator, RAIN!, well he wishes
. CTX are a great team, as we have seen in past events. This team could easily take 1st, one of my top3 to win or cause an upset, as peoples favourites will be Lastchance, Calibre or c4u. I wouldnt bet against CTX not causing a major upset.
Smiles - geo, nate, mfig, Tigerfish, Jam
Online superstar geo has brought his boys out for the event, I dont know much about them to be quite honest, but if they have put in preparation, they could take down CAution!, I dont see them taking anyone else down though.
c4urself! - Kritikal, WilzOOO, trix, eLm, Calli
Ah, my favourite UK Boys!!, They gotta win this, they have to! Although so many of you hate them, they really are one of the best teams we got for the future as a UK community. I cant really say how much preparation they have put in but all 5 of these players have been playing with eachother in 1 clan or another for the past 3 years or so, teamplay should not be a problem. They are missing Kae this time around though, could be a problem for them as he really does excel in these events.
Calibre - Kardy, W1mpio, Marcus, fragM, Keiju
Calibre have hooked up with Keiju for the event, originally they were going to be competing in the CPL event, but have decided to go for the cash prize, who blames them! theres more chance of them winning this than CPL, and get a great reward. We get to see Keiju back in action after a quiet time with ONE and with ONE making a return, it will be interesting to see how he does, Im sure it will be same old keiju though. Hopefully Kardy will carry his team like he has done for TeamUK! doubt it though.
There we have it, my top teams for the event, well that I know off anyway.
I will update with HLTV IPs and matchbots etc, as soon as I know them!
As far as I know the c4u site will be getting updated regularly through-out the day, so checking there every so often for coverage, could be an idea.

4K won the first half 10-5 as CT. With a really slow start to the second half when they were T, going 4-0 down, aKuJji pulled something off special, winning a 3on1, and turning the game around. They later won the half, 6-4, ensuring their tickets to
