Enamor 3v3 Tournament

Posted by ukMango^ on the 3rd of November 2004 at 8:21 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

Enamor Gaming, is Sunderland's premier LAN gaming center. This week they'll be hosting a 3v3 tournament in conjuction with a two-night "sleep-over" at the center itself. The tournament kicks off at around 4:00 PM, that's 16:00 twenty-four hour clock fans! The "sleep-over" starts on Friday 5th November and lasts until Sunday 7th November, the tournament finishes early (afternoon) on Sunday. There're still ten places left for the "sleep-over", so if you're going to that; remember to pack the essentials such as cuddly ted and a toothbrush, there may be girls!

The price for the "sleep-over" is around £20 pounds, entrance to the tournament itself is £2 with the proceeds going to charity! HAH! not really, winner takes all! Check the Enamor website for more details. Incidently, their website was made by m|ke who deserves a shout for being great.

CaseTech ED-IL - Week 7 Day 4

Posted by ukGhetto on the 4th of November 2004 at 6:15 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

It’s now day four of week seven in the CaseTech.co.uk EnemyDown Invite League.

Thursday’s Games

  • 8pm uk BoC:cs vs ie suiGeneris - Map: de_cbble - HLTV: TBA

  • BoC:cs are the under dogs for this match. They were accepted into ED-IL through being in Enemydown Premier and they have shown their skill by beating teams such as SCEE and staying ranked first in Enemydown Premier (Not to sure about that one). suiGeneris look like they could easily win this from their recent LAN performance at WCSL. My prediction is:

  • uk BoC:cs 8 - 22 ie suiGeneris

  • 9pm uk naughty vs uk ForsakeN - Map: de_cbble - HLTV: TBA

  • naughty will again be the under dogs for this game and they were also accepted into ED-IL through competing in Enemydown Premier. naughty haven’t pulled any big results out of the bag yet in ED-IL but maybe tonight it could all change. ForsakeN should be able to win this one and as they are only focusing on ED-IL after dropping out of CSGN Premier, I’m sure they will have no problem. My prediction is:

  • uk naughty 6 - 24 uk ForsakeN

    c4u kicked from ClanBase

Posted by ukGhetto on the 4th of November 2004 at 7:21 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

It was just announced on SK-Gaming that eng c4u player wilzOOO has been caught cheating again. This time it wasn't for using wallhack but for playing for eng c4u even tho he was banned. He was found cheating in a Clanbase Euro Cup X game using the alias treesnake. It was later proven to be wilzOOO as his I.P was checked in-game and on IRC. This now means that all the games eng c4u played in Clanbase Euro Cup X will be defaulted to the other teams and wilzOOO is now permanently banned from Clanbase.
