D`skyline win EOGC

Posted by ukpie on the 5th of September 2004 at 10:52 AM in Gaming News    0 Comments

EOGC was recently attended by a few of the hottest teams around at the moment, including fr GoodGame, fn D`skyline and our very own uk 4Kings. Also in attendence were other uk teams, such as uk TAG, uk Lastchance and uk CHEERS.

The top placed team from the UK was 4Kings who managed to reach the semi-finals before being knocked out by fr GoodGame 19:15.

The grand final was between fn D`Skyline and fr Goodgame, on the classic de_dust2. D`Skyline managed to seal their victory with no need for overtime, beating GoodGame 13:10.

Congratulations to D`Skyline, who seem to be ever improving. Its also worth mentioning that uk Lastchance managed to narrowly lose to GoodGame, in triple overtime, 22:18. Could we see a reformation after an excellent performance, time will tell. Congrats

I wish I was as good as Ksharp

Well.... now you can be! us Kyle "Ksharp" Miller is the latest addition to the Counter-strike teachers over at the ESEA.

Ksharp is renowned for his awping capabilities. Just recently he had a monster performance with the awp in the GGL Invite tourney, leaving many gobsmacked.

Best Achievements Internationally
  • 1st at Speakeasy CPL

  • 1st CPL Winter 02

  • 2nd WCG Korea 03

  • However this perky little number will set you back around $50 per hour, which is perhaps a little too much. But hay if you think he's worth it, head on over to ESEA and book your lesson now. If you do, let us know how u get on...

    Lastchance will cu@LAN!

Posted by ukpie on the 6th of September 2004 at 9:26 AM in Team News    0 Comments

uk Lastchance were once regarded as one of the best teams in the UK. They had a steady lineup, dedicated players, and the skill to go further then most other clans.

At [ukt] LAN (the finals), Lastchance played extremely well finishing 3rd, and at EOGC they made fr Goodgame, arguably the best team in France, go into triple overtime only to lose narrowly. They also had excellent results vs. uk 4Kings and uk TAG.

    So, they have decided to make a LAN team for all future events;

    uk MadSpunK
    uk Song
    uk AdY
    uk Milka
    uk hih1

This team is strictly LAN only, so the members will play for their own clans online. But, with time, it will be interesting to see if Lastchance do make a full comeback, maybe get back their CSGN #1 spot? Time will tell, best of luck!
