Top russian team

M19 have yesterday released another movie, entitled
M19 - The revolution is here , containing footage from only 1.6.

M19 are one of the best teams in the world, and with wins like WCG 2002 under their belt, its not hard to see why.
The movie was made by
Infinity Design. There are a lot of effects in the movie, which I think are superb, but there have been mixed feelings as to whether this is a good or bad attribute. Why dont you
take a look for your self, and voice your opinions below. It weighs in at 239MB and is 10:01 minutes long.
Pie`s rating:
Frags: 9/10
GFX: 8/10
Music: 8/10
update: It seems none of the mirrors work, however i found one not on that list that works:
Here my b e a utiful's. Not the best mirror but it gets the job done. Enjoy!
UK/IE Cup Finals Report & Photos
Fridays are normally pretty quiet in
CS terms, but to help liven it up
Mango^ has written a stunningly lengthy article summarising the recent
UK/IE Cup LAN Finals, which took place at the
LITE centre on the weekend of June 20th.
The article reviews the event and its structure, as well as featuring small summaries of every match and interviews with each of the teams that attended, and an in-depth one with the man behind the event,
Zorro of [clanbase]. He also collected various photos of the event and the teams in action, which are also available. Below's a short sample, as ever.
UK/IE Finals Report:"The UK/IE Cup is a community event, the online structure allows a huge number of clans to enter, many times more that that of a conventional LAN tournament. It wasn't something that was invite only or available to highly ranked clans, it allowed anyone (provided they were registered on Clanbase) to enter the tournament and clans did, in their droves. The cup to me represents not only ambition, but also the desire to build and solidify the community; for many newer clans this tournament "turned them on" to LAN events because there was always the possibility that if they performed well in the qualification stages, they could be playing the top clans in the UK at a bonafide LAN event. "
Overall, the article offers not only a decent review of the event, but an insight into the pitfalls and potential solutions of the

UK
CS scene. Extremely well written and extremely long, be careful clicking the link below - you could be in for the whole evening!

UK/IE Cup Finals Photos
So, a big thanks to
Mango^ for his live coverage of the event, his superb article, and his photography, as well as a big round of applause to
Zorro for his dedication and patience with what can often seem a very futile

UK
CS community, as well as his organisation of the event, and to the
LITE LAN centre for their hosting of the event.

Destructo, former member of top US clan

Rival, was interviewed over at
NoA`s Website. To be fair, he was a very unknown player, atleast in Europe. He exploded onto the scene by joining

NoA a few months back, and with that came instant fame throughout the CS world.
What do you think is the best map for the tactical aspect of the game? Why?
NoA|Destructo: In my opinion the best map for the tactical aspect of Counter-Strike would have to be de_inferno;
if executed right this map has many effective strategies and tactics that could
be put to use.
The interview talks about Him and

NoA, his history with Counter-Strike, the preperation for the ESCW USA finals and many more random Questions. The interview is 28 Questions long, but the questions are mainly `one liners`, and all the answers are really short. If you want to read it,
click this handly little link. Enjoy!
