Ever wanted to remember the good old days and have a game on Counter-Strike version 1.3? Well now you can. A new patch has been released, steaminstall_cs13.exe, which will allow Counter-Strike 1.3 to be played through Steam. The patch weigh's in at 100m/b. Instructions for installation:

  • Run steaminstall_cs13.exe.

  • Replace 'email@email.com' with your email and EXTRACT!

  • Make sure that your point to the directory that your Steam folder is in.

  • Once extracted, close Steam and re-open it.

  • Click the 'games menu', and browse under '3rd-party games', Click 'Counter-Strike'.

    As you know today saw the first part of three seperate LAN tournaments which make up UKT6 that is currently taking place at the-hub in uk Hull. Today saw 16 teams battling it out in the amateur tournament, the teams were divided into 4 groups with the top 2 of each group going through to the Quarter Finals on de_train.

    uk code of eXecution came second in their group behind uk Loading and faced off again'st uk BLACKLiGHT in the Quarter-Finals who they beat 13-6. The Semi-Finals saw them up against uk Got:Game on de_nuke which again they managed to win 13-6 progressing them into the Grand Finals on de_dust2 again'st uk SCEE. uk code of eXecution manged to beat uk SCEE 13-7 in the final giving them free accomodation for the night and a place in the Professional tournament today. uk SCEE as runners-up also get invited back to the Professional tournament. Best of luck to both teams for today.

    After the recent update from Steam which incorperated quite a few unlikeable changes including the six inch wide crosshair and the oh so lovely headshot icon comes another update which corrects these and more. Did VALVe actually listen to our distress calls or just realise they made a grave mistake.
