Intel Extreme Edition Challenge 2 which took place at

4Kings and Swedish world number one

The
Cyber Athlete Professional League today officially announce the opening of their summer event,
Cyberathlete® Extreme World Championships which commences in

Dallas, Texas on the Wednesday 28th of July. The event is primarily sponsored by
Intel and their
Intel® Pentium® 4 processor with
HT Technology Extreme Edition along with co-sponsors
NVIDIA, Hitachi and CompUSA.
Although the event had not been officially announced until today, thousands of gamers from all over the world already have registered online, also booking rooms in three different hotels at record levels.
In the competitor category, over 1,600 gamers have registered to participate in one of four official tournaments, making it the worlds largest professional computer games competition.
A projected purse of $250,000 in cash prizes will be offered for all four official tournaments as follows:
$100,000 Counter-Strike Tournament - sponsored by Hitachi.
$50,000 Call of Duty Tournament - sponsored by NVIDIA.
$50,000 Battlefield 1942 Tournament - sponsored by NVIDIA.
$50,000 Halo PC Tournament - sponsored by NVIDIA.
The event should make for an extra special watch this time around as four

UK teams will be competing in this event (as far as im aware),
4Kings,
Team AMD Gamer,
Infinity-eSports and
nocturne.
