CS Basic War Strategy Guide

Posted by ukenuex on the 2nd of February 2004 at 10:58 PM in Gaming News    0 Comments

Whisper, a respected CS community member from Games Arena, has taken a lot of time out to write up a "very basic CS war strategy guide". Although much of the material - and there is a vast quantity of it - can be considered quite simple and basic war knowledge, he claims the guide "explains many of the common mistakes new and even experienced clans make".

It is obvious a lot of work has gone into this article, and with basic scripting and money control advice, can certainly be of no harm to anyone. Indeed, the depth and strength of advice offered can easily be misjudged simply by reading the first "Basic War Strat":

  • Kill the enemy. Don't shoot, grenade or flash your own team.

  • So if you have a spare 5/50 mins, check it out here.

    Steam Update

Posted by ukMat on the 4th of February 2004 at 4:58 AM in Gaming News    0 Comments

Small Steam update has been released this evening. The update doesnt address anything too exciting like the radar or sig/aug zoom crosshairs, but it does address a couple of client bugs.

  • Fixed a Friends bug which caused it to sign in to the Friends servers too often.

  • Fixed a bug in the Server browser where favorites couldn't be deleted.
